Express Inn Tomball

The pool was perfect for our family, and the kids enjoyed it ! The staff were accommodating and even helped us with extra towels for the baby. It's nice to have a quiet spot for family fun.

In my wife's opinion, a play area for little ones would be great.

We enjoyed the hotel, it was nice and had decent location next to the tube, and restaurants, stores. The room was a nice size and brand-new with safe for safety measures. This place was perfect for what we needed, do recommend.

It was a comfortable hotel, we really enjoyed it.

Water for coffee has a foul tast

I only booked one night and went to another hotel.

When I arrived and checked in, I got to the room and it had not been cleaned from the previous guest. I went back to the front desk and they attempted to have me wait. I advised I needed to get ready for a rehearsal dinner for a wedding and they finally put us in another room. The air conditioner made noise all night and the iron stained a brand new shirt. I then had to go buy something else to wear to the dinner.

Breakfast bar is a joke. Hardly any food, and everything there was stale.

This place is awesome for the price! I am very budget minded when it comes to hotels therefore because of my budget I've stayed at some places that were pretty bad. This hotel (Super 8 in Tomball TX) is nicer than "nice" hotels that I've stayed at. Excellent location in the middle of everything Ren Fest, Houston, Sam Moon...

The rooms were brand-new and spotlessly clean with coffee maker, a couch plus shower, and I had a very comfortable stay overall. The team provided a great service...

Hot water and comfy pillows

So, I lost track of time getting coffee and asked for a later check-out-got an extra hour, yay! The hot water actually worked, and the bed was decent with nice pillows. Kinda bummed about the advertising mix-up, though. Just wish it was cleaner.

Facility was just recently remodeled - very clean

The on-line site listed a "Total Cost" that was not the total cost. In the English, total cost IS the total cost. It is Not the price before taxes.

The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a nice seating area. The air conditioning worked great, and the free WiFi was a huge plus. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with any questions.

The breakfast options were quite basic.

I really liked the re-design of the rooms; the sink & vanity area was very lovely. The flat screen tv, refrigerator & microwave were appreciated.

Before I booked I found a coupon online for 25% which caused me to decide to try this hotel. When we arrived the 'general manager' claimed that those coupons were only good for 'walk ins' and did not apply for reservations. The coupon did not state anything about that & only after some arguing did he apply the coupon (but still did not give us the full 25% off. I was very upset with his demeanor. Also, the hot tub was broken while we were there and the 'continental breakfast' was pretty minimal.

We visited a nearby theme park and enjoyed local dining spots. The beds were comfy, and it was a great value for what we paid. Just set your expectations for basic breakfast options.
